Our Second Year of Tree Planting Events Sponsored by The Home Depot Foundation
The Home Depot Foundation and The Arbor Day Foundation are pleased to report that over 1,100 new trees have been planted in 10 cities across the country. Hundreds of school children, local Home Depot employees and other volunteers have worked hard to add some much needed green to our cities around the country.
These tree-planting events are part of a nationwide 10-city campaign led by The Home Depot Foundation and The Arbor Day Foundation to increase awareness of the importance of city trees as green infrastructure in our cities and to create healthier communities in urban areas.
We would like to thank The Home Depot Foundation for their generosity and for their passion to promote the many benefits of trees!
